• If the products are accepted, CAB will issue the PCoC through the SABER portal.
• For shipment certification, you will have to apply for a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) after receiving the PCoC certificate.
• The Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) will assess the details of the shipment and ensure all the products comply with the standards provided.
• If the verification is successful, the CAB will provide the Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) for the shipment.

Therefore, the importers must ensure that their products comply with the standards of SASO, applying for PCoC and SCoC before shipment is mandatory, and a letter of undertaking for customs clearance will no longer be valid; you must update internal procedures to align with the new regulations and must work together with the SASO-accredited certification bodies.

For shipment importers must also provide a declaration approved by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to apply for the SCoC.
